HISTORY OF CHOWMAHALLA PALACE

While Salabat Jung initiates its construction in 1750, it had been completed by the time of Afzal ad-Dawlah, Asaf Jah V between 1857 and 1869.

Construction of the palace began within the late eighteenth century and over the decades a synthesis of the many architectural designs and influence appear.
