HISTORY OF CHOWMAHALLA PALACE

While Salabat Jung initiates its construction in 1750, it had been completed by the time of Afzal ad-Dawlah, Asaf Jah V between 1857 and 1869.

The palace is exclusive for its design and it's high-class. Construction of the palace began within the late eighteenth century and over the decades a synthesis of the many architectural designs and influence appear. The palace consists of two courtyards in addition because of the grand Khilwat (the Darbar Hall), fountains and gardens. The palace originally layered forty-five acres (180,000 m2), but now it covers only  twelve acres (49,000 m2)
